Great job? He was anonymous last night, up until the 60'th minute or something. He's been good, but he's also been horrific. I'd say he's been somewhat inconsistent. The problem isn't Giac tho. I don't want us to deploy a 3-5-2, because it implies utilizing certain players in positions they are unfamiliar with, and potentially sending Vucinic (our most creative force), to the bench.
That's because there was something wrong with the formation, up until the 50th minute or so he was diffused with Marchisio where both were horrible. After that they both exploded exploiting the zones they are comfortable with.

I am not disputing that, but the fact remains that he was anonymous up until the 60'th minute or so. Why use that formation/setup in the first place?

@ SallyInzaghi: We need more than just a finisher. We need another creative influence down the right flank, someone who can change the course of the game with a piece of magic. Imagine if we had Sanchez as our RWF this season, and added Higuain/Suarez next season.

It's not his fault that this formation was used though and we are discussing Giaccherrini here not Conte.....even if we are in the Conte thread ;)

when people start saying things like "fuck Conte" and start believing that players like elia will solve all our problems you know they've been spoilt and frankly it annoys the shit out of me how despite what we have achieved so far this season, people are still not happy, it is ok to have an opinion on certain matters but to start hurling insults at someone who is performing miracles is simply unacceptable and un called for, if you think it is bad then try the inter forums, i would never in my wildest dreams would have thought we would be where we are now after years of crap
What a load of crap.

Van Gaal is much more accomplished than Conte anyways. He'd also bring us Robben and play a much more attractive style. If Conte sticks with the 3-5-2, his time here will be short. We can't keep relying on old man Pirlo to bail us out.
in what way a more attractive style? is the current Juve boring for you? Juve play the most attractive football if not at least one of the most attractive styles in the league.

Ok, B81, there is one thing i can not understand in this whole situation. I just want to ask you, are you happy with how Juve has been doing this season if you take into consideration that the last 6 years we have been utter shite?? We were the most predictable team in the league, deploying 4-4-2 with two slow DM's who couldnt pass a precise ball longer than 6 metres from them if their lives dependet on it.....My point is that this whole formation changing works in our favour, we are very unpredictable and we can see the results of that because we are fucking 1st place in the league!

How many of Mancini's 31 undefeated matches were draws? 30?
In 2005-2006 season the last 2 games were draws. In the 2006-2007 season they were undefeated until week 31 with 6 more draws. So 8.

These are the best undefeated records of Serie A :

Milan (with Capello from 91 to 93) : 58 undefeated games ( 19 draws )
Fiorentina (55-56) and Inter (2005 to 2007) : 33 undefeated games
Perugia (78-79) : 30 undefeated games which was a whole season but with 19 draws and 11 wins.
Fiorentina (68-69) : 25 games (11 draws)
