Imagine Hierro for example or someone coaching Atletico Madrid or Valencia and him having 'take some time to reflect on his future' to rejoin Real Madrid

What a body blow for JJ if he stays at Napoli. Are we even a big club anymore if we get rejected by our legend? Dark times ahead if this goes south.

Conte only cares about himself, the club is irrelevant to him.

Dont be melodramatic. Sure Conte might be a safe bet short term. Long term we know we cannot rely on him. If he rejects a move, there are other coaches, one in particular that could make a comeback :klin: . Either way, priority should be to replace Giuntolli. So far Ive read conflicting rumors.

Maybe he will bring de bruyne with him, he could be usefull...
It's fun to talk about and joke about with history repeating itself with Pirlo comps when he came in, but has anyone actually watched De Bruyne over the past year?

Like he really fell off a cliff and looks all but officially washed. Losing a club legend is always devastated and fans always want to hold on for as long as they can, but even City fans were ready to wipe their hands clean of him. It was just time.

I'd be willing to give him a reasonable 1 year deal for fun, but the idea of offering him a multiyear deal is insane to me.

He belongs in the MLS

What are you on about? When he came back from injury he was again one of their best players and continiously demonstrated great passing range and work rate. The worry is his injuries not when he is fit.
