Can't believe people actually want this guy back, it's bad enough Giuseppe Marotta doesn't think we're big enough to compete with the best, I think having Conte's constant reminder that we're "miles of the best" will just stunt our growth even futher. People say Conte did bad in Europe in only one year, but I consider 2014 a double fail; getting knocked out in the group stage in the CL and failing to win the EL when we were clearly miles better than everyone else.

failing 2/3 times

2014 counts as a double fail because of the manner of which we got knocked out the EL when we were clearly the best team in it
failing 2 out of 5 times. 2012 counts as three successes because it was his and the entire squads' first CL campaign ever and because we thrashed the champions chelsea

Also Allegri counts as having completed the treble because Vidal was out of form and Marotta did not buy him a proper AM.

accept my argument is legitament because Conte entered two european competitions in 2014, and should be judged on both

+1 if I didn't have to spread rep. This is great.

If we're struggling I can see him coming back either way. I honestly feel like if we don't do good this season it's either him or Simeone. Dunno why. Just do.
You want this Inter bastard here? :shifty:
@JCK was it you who was so perplexed along with me when everyone was fawning over Simeone and wanting him here the last couple years?

Just the feeling I have. Him or Conte if Allegri doesn't finish the season strong.

EL doesn't really matter. Both competitions are not equal so don't treat them as such. Otherwise Sevilla's European campaign would have been more impressive than ours. Judge him on a competition that does matter in Europe not EL and super cups.

I doubt you'd take Allegri's last season as 2/3 in Italy because he lost the silly supercup.

Me neither. I'd rue the day we'd hire him as a coach!
he is the best coach in the world if you ask me. I don't care who he played for before.
