As i've said many times, juventus allways look to duisrupt the opponent gameplan, wich nearly allways ends up in them looking "very bad" because they cant get into their game. Especially when Marchisio is on, but big probs to Pogba, who was a monster defensively and in organisation.

Pogba was very good against benfica really good i liked him more for his workrate rather than the fancy goals or flicks he did in other games .He should keep it simple he is solid.
I wonder why conte who has done more for success of juve both as a player and a coach than all of us on this forum put together , not Respected more .

30 minutes in the first half against Benfica, we were not pressed after they scored. What did we do? Pass the ball between Caceres, Chiellini and Bonucci and then the long ball....

So if we are pressed thats not our fault thats the tactic used by the other coach , either your players are quick on the ball to pass around like peps barca then teams will sit back and let you have the ball because if they press and the players pass it aroud they loose shape of their organisation then barca can tika taka into the goal or if your players are like ours not as good in passing other than pirlo who is quick in distribution and marchisio , vidal and pogba are not such good passers , then we have to mix it up when we are pressed we have to use long balls , if we get space like in benfica we pass around and build our attack .
Its not like you can play the way you want and other teams will let you .
We were pressed , but after the goal they game us some space to play cause they dint want us to counter so they sit back a little to let us play so that we open up . But we dint want to concede so we also were compact and cautious because 2-0 down in 30 mins is not good away .
Understand its like a cat and mouse game . You just dont play the same tactic all match , otherwise it would be like che-atm game , but it was not .

You see, there are some members, very few of them, that behave like they're having a period all the time. Even when Juve is winning they don't find it satisfying; we need to create more chances, we sit back too much and give possession, we don't press, pussy football, etc... But with time you'll learn to ignore these few, you won't give them importance, and you might find some humor in their comments. I'll laugh my ass off when we eliminate Benfica on Thursdays, and when we mathematically clinch the title.
Lol so true . When we win we play pussy boring defensive football etc . We we have more possession more shots on target etc its not important because we lost so we are not good enough . In short to please some we have to win every match 3/4/5 - 0 as if the other team has come just to watch us play.

See in a 2 leg game , you cannot win the tie in the 1st game even if you score 3 you cant be sure of winning it but yes if you play stupid you can surely loose it specially away game for us , just look at the 2 other semi - finals , 1 goal scored all 4 teams were cautious.
Yes mistakes i agree but its nuthing to do with how we played , bonucci error was as good as missing a penalty , he gave a free header in front of goal from 10 yards , it has nothing to do with tactic .
But like you rightly pointed benfica coach is a smart man after the goal he gave us the ball so that we start playing and open up because he had the players with pace but conte made sure we dint go too aggressive thats why you feel that we dint attack them much .
