Of course. You find it normal not making it through the group-stage?
It isnt normal but klopp failed to get out of the group stage with dortmund and then made a run to the final the next season (this season he might fail to or Rafa will). Fergie failed to get out of the group stages a couple of seasons ago and it was an easy group. Di matteo went from CL champion to CL group stage loser. Mancini failed twice and might be the one to knock us out this time.

It happens even to the best coaches. It doesn't mean that the coach is horrible and needs to be changed especially if that same coach transformed your team from a mediocre one to a top one.

conte has done so great with so little (fault for marotta for not getting the actual players that conte wanted ie. suarez, aguero etc....) but marotta is the best bargain hunter out there and conte has used that to full effectiveness. well done conte.

So let me ask this question.

When we are eliminated from the CL in the group stage will Conte receive the blame for not properly utilizing the bargain players brought in by Marotta or will Marotta receive the blame for not investing $$$ in players that make a difference?

Just curious, not trying to start a fire that is inevitably going to start.

If we're eliminated, it's because of our mentality in that period which I certainly blame Conte for.

Hope he doesn't go back to playing 5 defenders against teams we should be putting 5 goals passed.... Then watching defenders trying to play like midfielders then messing it all up and gifting them possession in our own half.

Tevez yo. Our squad is bigger and better than the management expected it would be by now. Marotta has done an excellent job credit to him but he still signed Martinez for 15M clams so he can get stuffed.
