I think that he had asked for winger in summer but at the end of mercato he got nothing. It turned out that Diamanti, Bonaventura and others are too pricey. If I remember correctly Conte wanted at least 5 or 6 new names in the squad: ST, SS, Winger, CM, RB/LB and CB.
