No system change for Conte
By Football Italia staff

Antonio Conte says he has no plans to change the way Juventus play after their first outing of the new campaign.

The Old Lady started the 7-0 win over Aygreville on Wednesday with their usual 3-5-2 formation and Conte shrugged off suggestions that he’s considering a switch in system.

“We’ve won the Scudetto over the last two seasons, so I don’t see why we need to change,” he noted. “We’ll play as we always have.

“We got to the quarter-finals of the Champions League in our first experience of the competition, playing beautiful football on the way. We’ll thus continue to do that.”

The Bianconeri initially struggled to break down their amateur opponents yesterday, but the tactician was satisfied with what he saw.

“It’s understandable that our legs aren’t going to be as fresh because they’re starting to feel the effects of the workload over the past few days,” he noted.

“We were up against a Lega Pro side in the first half, while we faced a selection of youngsters after the break.

“They gave their all and should be congratulated on their commitment.”

The tie allowed fans to get their first glimpse of new boys Carlos Tevez, Fernando Llorente and Angelo Ogbonna.

“I’m happy with how the new signings fared, but also pleased with the way the other players performed. We’re working well and everyone’s committed, that’s what puts my mind at rest.

“Tevez, Llorente and Ogbonna are learning to memorize certain situations in the way we play, a few movements and that is certainly positive.”

Conte was also inevitably asked about the transfer market. “The club know what needs to be done, there is no need for me to tell you our plans. There is a strategy.”

3rd consecutive scudetto would be just amazing. So many times we've tried that in the past, and only succeeded once. And we had some great lineups that attempted it, remember that! I'd send you all a frozen sample of my fapspill if that was to happen, because there would be enough for everyone.

Be sure that I'd gladly receive your fapspill and hope to one day produce a little Jemmeister for myself. Of course, I'd need a willing and non-barren female to conduct this weird "experiment" on.
