I thought he did fairly well, considering it was his first game at left with us, and against no other than Madrid! He'll come good.

If anyone was the worst in this game, then it would have to be Cheillini. Giving away a stupid, unnecessary penalty, and then getting red, even though it was very harsh. He killed our comeback.

Poor, he was scared shitless imo. Still, I'd play him there in the next match as well, simply because we have no-one better right now, as I'd like to see Asa in the middle.

But still didn't make any mistake which would lead to RM's goalscoring opportunity unlike Chiellini. He could be decent backup for LB, but CB spot is evidently his natural position.

He's built to be anything on the field but the wing! Guy is fat. In more than one occasion, he failed to reach an easy ball before it goes out.

Didn't get beat? where was he at the 1st goal, letting Di Maria cut inside like that and backing off. Then Pirlo got beat and Chiellini had to close Di Maria which opened space for Cristiano to run.
... and lost Arbeloa before that cut back to Benzema, who missed a sitter.

:D I have been in North-America for less than 6 months though, and I am yet to play soccer here.

p.s. I also fault him for the Chiellini sending off, when he didn't get close enough to Di Maria or foul even though he followed DiMaria inside away from his designated LB position, which opened up space for Cristiano to run at.
