What if he looks horrible? Even worse than he does here?

Will people admit EPL has good defending?
Well he looked horrible here, and 1 man isn't going to change anybodies opinion on an entire league. For what it's worth, defending is more of a team thing now, it's all about the collective. CB's in general across the world don't look particularly impressive compared to the not too distant past. Whether it's because of talent or how football has changed is something people keep debating.

I was very disappointed by him because I had high expectations when we got him. But even if he was decent this a good move because he isn't as good as Bonucci, Chiellini, or Barzagli and Rugani. We had to sell Ogbonna to make room for Rugani. I wish him the best at West Ham.

I had high hopes for him here. Great physicality, seemed to be a leader in Torino, cool name, Italian. Yet turned out to be a total failure.
Got injured and never got a run in the team because of that never threatened to establish himself.

Still think he was a reasonable signing and that he could have been useful to Juve had he stayed fit.

Anyway, little damage done overall since he's being sold for a decent fee.
