Word and Llorente hasn't sacrificed a year of his career to come here to be benched.

SKY mentioned we're looking to get our signings completed by the start of July, Unlike last year when we waited for August to try and sign our top attacker this year we've moved very early.

It looks like the strategy was to focus on Jovetic, however with Fiorentina demanding silly money we've moved onto Higuain, if Real agree to come down from 30 million to 25, I think they'll get a deal tomorrow, certainly in principle anyway. However if Madrid continue with 30 million then I think we'll look to close for Tevez.

Well if we go by the reports, we have agreed terms with Tevez and Higuain is our top target. This suggests that if we strike a deal with RM tomorrow and manage to sign Tevez for 10-12 M than we probably have buyers for Vucinic, Matri and Quagliarella. The sale of those three could get us around 20M+ and free some money for the wages. Possible, no?

I think we've agreed with Tevez as a safety net. Similar to what we did with Higuain when we first started chasing Jovetic.

But Sky also seem to think that we are after two of them, Higuain/Tevez + Jovetic.

They never said Jojo is an alternative to Higuain, and it wouldn't make sense either since they are totally different. That's like going for Xabi and ending up with Poulsen.. oh wait. :shifty:

See this is what bugs me...how can we strategize a backup plan which is different (at least in characters) from 'the plan'. The only thing they have in common is their Gucci price.
