What would Ogbonna be, our 5th choice CB? No reason to spend 10M + 2 players for rotation.

Ogbonna simply isnt a priority imo. Just like Isla wasnt
Allow me:

Barzagli (Ogbonna)-Bonucci (Marrone)- Chiellini (Caceres)

Ogbonna would be great if he is as big as a talent as we make him out to be. Barzagli isn't getting any younger. Perfect foresight if you ask me.

Don't wanna wait too long as Barzagli ages then be forced to overpay or what not for a CB.

Ogbonna would be Chiellini's replacement, can't see him playing in the right instead of Barzagli with him being a leftie, it will be too awkward for him.

Good point. He is left footed isn't he? Just switch Caceres and Ogbonna

I actually see it happening, but I am sure Conte will make specific demands this summer.

If he leads us to back to back titles, and with another CL campaign on the horizon (not to mention that we are still in this season's CL as well), I'm sure Conte will have a lot of leverage and the backing of both Agnelli and Nedved.

How about we get a backup player for cheap or free like a Amorebieta(or a player of that genre) and put that 15m + another 15-25m on a player we really need like a top forward.

We don't need this guy. Let's focus on strengthening the weakest area of the team, before adding more depth to an already somewhat stacked and powerful department.
will be spending most of the summer negotiating ogbonna and forget that we actually need a class attacker yet again and renews Bendtner's loan deal
OR, maybe we do need him. Getting Ogbonna would be a good move. One for the future. Shouldn't be that big of a deal...its not like its another Padoin or Giacherinni.

We have a great striker coming for free already and two pretty good SS's. Now, Marotta really just needs to focus on the big SS to come and make a big difference. Ogbonna would be a good back burner deal I can see happening much easier than a top SS.

for fucks sake people, its only two transfers. shouldn't be that hard.

Maybe we have the money to do both, we are just sending up smokescreens. :klin:

well if we have the cash for a Suarez and Ogbonna then go for it. I doubt it though.

There is no way Cairo will agree to let us have Ogbonna on co own with option to buy
I think with Cairo he'd want 20m from us. :D

He's already 25.Cant exactly call it 'one for the future'..
Sure you can. That's at least 5-6 season of top football if he continues to improve.

Get sanchez with loan option to buy NEXT season (with a smaller fee for the loan paid now) and use rest for Ogbonna. OR Jovetic with fee plus some players to lower overall cash fee...then rest on Ogbonna deal.

:)
