We are not going to get an unproven defender unless Conte is certain he is going to be starting next to Chielini. No point paying for any 3rd/4th choice defender when they would be using those money for other positions. Can't see this transfer happening.

Juventus dine for Ogbonna
By Football Italia staff

Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici has held a meeting with the agent of Torino defender Angelo Ogbonna.

Juve director general Beppe Marotta publicly confirmed the club’s interest in the stopper last September and a summer offer may be on the horizon.

Paratici reportedly dined with Giovanni Branchini, the representative who yesterday dismissed surprise links with Lazio for the centre-back.

Ogbonna is a 24-year-old Italian international who has had an injury-affected campaign in Serie A this term.

However, it is widely understood that Torino chief Urbano Cairo would prefer to sell Ogbonna to a foreign club rather than his side’s city rivals.

Toro value Ogbonna at around the €20m mark, but Juve are expected to make a player plus cash offer for the man born in Cassino.

What would Ogbonna be, our 5th choice CB? No reason to spend 10M + 2 players for rotation.

Ogbonna simply isnt a priority imo. Just like Isla wasnt
