Maybe, but in our current formation and financially wise, Bonucci is irreplacable.
I think that it's an overrated argument, Yes Bonucci plays in a specific role, that neither Barzagli or Chiellini could handle. And he has done it good, even if he makes some misstakes at times. But still if we buy a player like Ogbonna, IMO his transfer reminds me of the one of Bonucci, talented but not proven yet. I believe Ogbonna could play in the same roll as Bonucci, he is calm , good with the ball, and is faster then Bonucci. Im not saying he is better, but IMO with a player like Ogbonna in the squad, Bonucci will get competition.

What do you mean?
We can't buy a Hummels for example.

Whenever I've seen Ogbonna play, I saw him more of a Chiellini type of a defender than Bonucci.

get him!

I want to see Ogbonna in our D, Pogs and Asa in the midfield and Boayke upfront some time in the future playing in Juve together!
:D
I haven't seen much of Ogbonna, and I'm not really too exited about him tbh, I really wanted to see Sorenson. But for the whole BiancoNegro Juve! I am :touched: it will happen!

Id say hes as good as bonucci quality wise, with different strenghts and weaknesses.
true! They are both average at quality, but Bonucci has more experience at the highest level with us.
Ogbonna has a long way to cover from there.
Maybe, but in our current formation and financially wise, Bonucci is irreplacable.
And you forget to name the most important factor that makes him irreplacable, his nationality!

Anyways, we really need a back up to rest one of the missing starters.
Accidents, NT games, injuries, suspensions, etc happen, the other option we have are wing backs and CMs, none of them can be used as a CB with the same defensive solidarity, as this season has showed.

His agent plays tough ball because he knows that we will favor Italian CBs for nationalistic purposes, we should make an official bid and leak some Rannochia interest to see what happens!

Bonucci is average.

Juventus have the three best CBs in Serie A, Bonucci is one of them.

We leaked less goals than most clubs in Europe.
