Is there someone that has seen more than 7 games of him and can say what kind of defender he is and if he's worth all that cash?

He has no athletic deficiencies. He's a bit of a mix between all 3 of our current defenders. I'd say he's well rounded. After the injury he was different but you have to note the extreme difference between defending in Torino and at Juventus. Perhaps his concentration/reading of the game is not quite as good as a Barzagli but in our team he will be asked slightly less then at Torino who have to defend alot.

Is he worth the money? To me, he's worth 10-12M. He has several positive factors that require a decent cash sum: He's Italian and has played with our whole backline + Buffon in the national team. So he has familiarity already. He's young and definitely has potential, so he can even grow into something more. He is left-footed which is rare. And he has small wages. So maybe in a couple years Barzagli moves on and Ogbonna steps in and we don't have to look for a top class CB and pay 4-6M a year because we have one already.

Let's just say, if he improves as much as Bonucci did, he'll be more than worth it because Ogbonna would be starting out with us at a higher level than Bonucci did IMO.
