Regardless of whether Ogbonna is better than Caceres, just having Caceres as a backup for the three starting centre-halves isn't enough.

Unless you guys watched a lot of Torino in Serie B and witnessed some great Ogbonna performances, based on this Serie A campaign, the guy is in no way better than Caceres.
Pardon? So if people haven't seen Ogbonna play it means he isn't better than Caceras?

This. Despite of our good defense, we need another CB considering we play with 3 man defense.

Ogbonna is good with the ball, so we actually need him in order to rotate with Bonucci.

Not necessarily, but you certainly cannot say Ogbonna is better than Caceres judging from this past Serie A season. So, people who claim such a thing must've been watching Torino in Serie B where Ogbonna put some good performances according to media.
