Anelka is a wonderful player; one of the most talented and best forwards around in this game. Just because, he played for the likes of PSG, Fenerbache, Manchesty City, because he is an ass doesnt mean he isnt a good player. But to invest huge amount of money on such volatille player is sheer madness.

If we were to sign Anelka that would have been a great signing. Trez/Anelka strike force would be awesome!!

How old is Anelka? Never really rated him. I know he is kinda good, but I haven't seen him play much at all. I ditch the EPL.

Ive rated him for a long time but its his attitude which lets him down. For a player with his ability, look how many clubs he's played for in the last 5 seasons. He said he's changed his attitude since dumping his agent (Which was his brother) and now is no longer called ''Le Sulk'' from the British media. He scored again today with Bolton. I hear if Man utd dont manage to get Berbatov before the transfer window closes, Anelka will be their next target.

Anelka is pure talent, no one can deny that, but his head was never in the right place. That early move for real just made him worse, his ego went through the roof and he never got down to earth again. Had he stayed in Arsenal for a year or two longer and had Arsene tutor him some more, at least till he passed puberty, I think we would have became a true great of this game. But now he's a just another wasted talent, there's nothing any big club would need from him.
