This is only half true (and I say this without a shred of nationalism; I too once swore that I'd never buy an LG phone, and I'm currently using a Nexus 4).

LG has always made high quality hardware, but their software has always let them down horribly. The Nexus factor solves that completely, giving you good build quality with the stock Android experience.

Unfortunately I won't be getting a Nexus 5 just yet for the sake of my marriage (I only just bought the new Nexus 7), but I'm looking forward to KitKat immensely.
I will agree to disagree

The screen on the LG G2 is the best in the market, better than the HTC One. That takes some doing.

@Sheik Yerbouti, the Nexus 5 is listed on the India Play Store :weee:
It's about $100 more expensive than in the US.

I don't think I'll be buying a new phone for at least another 8 months. So I look forward to KitKat more than the phone. But it should become a lot lesser when the next android version comes out. I might consider it then. :)

Scrapbook feature on the Note 3 I'm finding very useful

Pity Samsung can't sort the licencing issue with the third party handwriting application :(

Big screens on phones don't impress me. It just means a bigger phone to fit into your pocket.

Like I said the HTC One is the only Android device I would take at the moment but that screen is as large as I would be able to tolerate.

I also find it annoying and a reason why I don't want to renew my phone, I've had the Galaxy Nexus for over a year now and I am not willing to go one millimeter up in size.

There are two types of people who buy iPhones imo, people who just want a smartphone to do all the simple things well and then there are cunts.

You can basically categorise Android users into two separate groups as well, number one being nerds and then those who wanna be able to view porn on a big enough screen so that they don't have to squint to make out the action
