Handcent kept forcing close so I restarted my phone and now it's a black screen......took out the battery and restarted it a lot of times, only to have the same problem. This is BS

OK, remove teh battery and put it back in. Now hold down the Home button and then press on ON button. Keep Home held down for 5 secs. Do you see any recovery menu?

OK. Take out teh battery and wait for 5 mins. Then put it in and press and hold the ON button for 10 whole seconds. If nothing happens, then call Sony Ericsson. Sorry.

It turns on, but instead of loading my home screen it just says Sony Ericsson or whatever and then loads a black screen and no buttons work. Thanks for trying though, I appreciate it, really.

@Tina: You're phone isn't beyond repair. It's good that you at least see teh SE logo. It can be recovered. It's best that SE does this, or the store you took it from. Either way, put some trust in Tech Support.

I used to use chompSMS but got sick of it and switched Handcent...haven't had any problems

Well it messed up my Xperia. It was telling me I had low phone space after I downloaded it. It's safe to say I'm not downloading it again.

Android is currently seeing massive growth and we think the mobile OS could conquer the world soon.

The way Google handles Android development goes far beyond anything we've seen in the smartphone world to date. You rarely hear Google make bold claims - you just hear them add new features to Android. Some are of the small kind, some are of the catching-up kind, and then there's some of the groundbreaking kind.

Just as important, soon, you can find the Android phone for you, regardless of who you are and what you need. Android is on the verge of covering any perspective a potential smartphone buyer may have. There are low-end Android phones in the markets that ask for that, and there's a ton of mid-range Android phones on a worldwide basis. The last piece of the puzzle, the high-end Android phones, are hitting store shelves in the U.S. this summer.

It's just a matter of time before high-end smartphones powered by Android will become a hit around the world. Google is currently ramping up Android Market, to feed hungry Android users with paid apps in the many countries that currently don't offer that opportunity. A lot of people that tend to actually spend money on mobile applications are increasingly choosing Android. We could simply see Android conquer the world once and for all soon.
