V, stop being cheap and get yourself an Android device.
Dude, it's not about being cheap. Desire for example costs me 2 months wages. Not giving that kind of money for a phone...I don't have a problem giving 5 months wages for a plasma or a stereo, but for a phone? Heck no.

What about the cheaper alternatives in Wildfire or Tattoo?
I can get a Tattoo on the cheap, a mate of mine is actually selling one...but I don't like the screen. The resolution sucks, it's at 65K colors and looks rather poor...I'd rather try and hook up a Samsung Galaxy somewhere, though a turn-off there is the fact the Galaxy won't get the 2.1 Android update.

The Wildfire is coming this fall to Croatia.

Time to loot your pops V :D
Nah, my old man is cheap, he knows every cent he has. :D I'm totally different, a reckless spender, constantly in debt...I'll get one of the smart phones but when the prices go down a bit and when I pay off my plasma. :p

I love your set up mate. I'm gonna take this thread completely off topic and ask you, how do you play mkv files on your TV?

There are numerous ways, man. I use video-card acceleration, by using MPC-HC:

If your video card supports DXVA, you should use that. If not, you should use ffdshow+mpc+haali media splitter.

What video card, CPU do you have and what OS are you using?

I don't remember the specs... And mine is a 3 year old laptop... I run Ubuntu and Vista. Currently on Vista most of the time as Ubuntu is causing heating problems. Its easy to stream the video to my TV via the PS3 while on Ubuntu. Windows, even though there are a million ways, almost everything fails for me... I just wanted know what you specifically do, as HDTV seems to be your forté...
