No joke I'd have Mancini over zidane, I'm not convinced Zidane knows how to construct a team or is even that tactically good. Gotta give credit to Mancini he's done wonders with the national team, a team which I think the country has fallen in love with again, something I feel we as Juve fans have missed the last 2 or 3 years with our own team.
Allegri isn't going to be the manager that takes us to a new era though, IMO. He will try to huff the remaining fumes in the cannister before we finally OD on a lack of new ideas, then we'll be having the same discussion 2 or 3 years down the road once the likes of Chiellini are literally in a wheelchair. I'm sure this will be an unpopular opinion, but this club needs a restart from top to bottom. And that restart should be a very unbiased one with respect to kinships in the club.
I didn't say he would start over Ronaldo. But he would definitely start. And yes, Hakimi is better imo 'though those stats (who are an exception for Cuads) make that debateable. Our only game plan seems to be Cuadrado and cross. I love Cuadrado but he's still inconsistent and very frustrating at times.

Which is not me saying Pirlo is doing a good job; he's obviously not. But he took on a completely dysfunctional team in a downward spiral with a huge gap between many youngsters and old geezers.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions. But Mancini failed at CL with the rich Man City so even with a large budget, he still can't win in Europe. Just one Premier League at the last minute won by Aguero. Zidane on the other hand won 3 consecutive CL competitions and still belittled by some Tuzzers. Even when CR7 left and the team is growing old not to mention some youngsters in a transition season, Real still won La Liga last season. This year they are still in CL and close to Atletico. Speaking of Mancini, we should wait until after Euro to judge his work.
Okay perhaps we disagree on what "overhaul" means. They had a similar transition during Inzaghi's first years as we had between our two CL finals under Allegri. I'd personally give credit to these managers who are able to oversee such transitions while maintaining good results.

I feel it's always a gamble with a new coach as it's super hard to predict who will be a good fit. For example no one expected Conte to do here as well as he did and pretty much no one expected Allegri to as well as he did.

Perhaps consider actually watching some games. Even this season Luis Alberto has been among the best AMs/CMs in the league if not the best. Hard to take you seriously with comments like these.

I feel it's always a gamble with a new coach as it's super hard to predict who will be a good fit. For example no one expected Conte to do here as well as he did and pretty much no one expected Allegri to as well as he did.

Pep has failed in the CL with a shit tonne of money since his Barca days, but I'm sure many here would love him still?
I think its difficult to judge Mancini on his work with city, it was a forever revolving door with the money they were getting but he did help build the foundations with players like silva, aguero, kompany and toure. I judge him more for his work with the NT, a harmonious squad that's coming off the nightmares of ventura, building a young exciting cycle which is precisely what we are trying to achieve. They've been playing some really decent football too, but getting the needed results at the same time.
zidane won the CL with arguably the best squad in Europe, I doubt he'd find much with this current crop looking to build a new cycle.

As great as Allegri was we all know things got a bit stale in his last season, the way I see it if we didn't invest heavily in de ligt that summer then we may have been able to revolutionise the squad as Allegri wanted it. Whether investing in De Ligt was the right thing is another matter, personally I felt he was too good to pass up on even if it has meant neglecting other areas.
