Current Juve is such a rollercoaster. No consistency whatsoever. We can go on and beat a strong side next time we play and then lose against vastly inferior opponent soon after. I just dont know what to expect any more. For several games we looked like a team with solid foundation, with a clear idea when going forward. Tonight though, we were played off the park for most of the match, completely shut down in attack, devoid of any creativity in the middle and looking vulnerable on counters. Then at the very end we could have scored an equalizer. Absurd.

There is just so much wrong with the team right now.

- We have no shape whatsoever with players running all over the place.
- The lack of shape is fine if we are solid at the back but the gaps are huge and players seem to be able to run freely down the middle.
- We create very few chances.
- We let in numerous chances.
- We seem to have a mentality issue where when something goes against us we don't look like turning it around and very rarely do.
- We are so careless with the ball.
- We look unmotivated.
- We don't look like a team and morale looks poor.
- We don't learn from our mistakes.

Hard to argue that these issues aren't Pirlo's responsibility.

Some great points there, I'll add my take on who I think is responsible.

No shape and gap in middle - that's on Pirlo. His dynamic style of playing has the players suck into different positions. It was a good excuse till December but few months and we still keep doing this.

Create few chances - on tici mainly, we don't have the personnel.

Giving too many chances - we're improving, unlucky with injuries. I think mistakes is down to morale and focus, something wrong with the players head.

We crumble on adversity - that's just Juve DNA

Careless - my biggest concern and adopted from Pirlos predecessor. Also think Pirlo is a soft spoken coach, we need someone to show more of a boss demeanor than a good and respected friend.

unmotivated and morale - as above. Fuck training these boys need a shrink. Pirlo needs to shake up their routine as well but stop rotating the lineups.

learning - probably the hardest one, but I think they take each game one at time and focus more on the opposition than themselves. For example we have escaped countless times from when we pass at the back yet we don't learn. That's style is nothing new, it just looks a lot more dangerous with Pirlo, although Sarri was just as bad.

Yeah annoying AF..wtf does that even mean moved the ball too slowly? The word he is looking for is "effectively". You can pass back and forth as fast as you want but what spaces are you exploring? Nothing in the last third that's for sure. Needs to scratch the whole approach his thesis paper should be redone. Start at the fucking back close the holes, slow the play down, wait for error don't force it with the lack of technical skills in middle, not speed up..send long aireals.. your targets are the GOAT and Morata.. with no midfield this is a counter style team, wtf is this tiki wannabe BS possession obsession..I'm confused about wtf he is actually thinking.

Create few chances - sure Tici has built an imbalanced squad but a team with Chiesa, Kulu and Ronaldo should be doing more. Porto created plenty of good chances today with weaker players which links to giving away too many chances.

I'd say Juve DNA is not to crumble with adversity, especially in the past 10 years. How many teams would Allegri or even Conte's Juve go behind or have player sent off only to still get something out of a game?

Learning - prime example is Bentancur being the man in charge of receiving passes under pressure at the edge of the area. It has been a disaster waiting to happen all season and Pirlo has continued to stick with it and it cost us today. There is no reason why Rabiot couldn't do that role until Arthur is back.

First of all, if Pirlo wants to stay in this job he needs to work on himself too. Juventus having an introvert as a coach isn’t going to cut it. The players feed of your energy.

Too many times we’ve showed up dead with no energy. If Bentancur is sloppy, pull the guy to the side and f’in knock it out of him. This cool quiet guy gimmick is not working and definetely not what this squad needs.

Some of these players are too young, inexperienced and insecure to pull themselves up during games. I want to see a more fiery Pirlo moving forward.

I'm surprised there is anyone who has watched a Juve game and not thought about pressing us hard, we're total shit under pressure. If everyone did it we'd be about 7th right now. Pirlo thinks he is out there controlling the ball, but it's players who piss themselves.

Hmm Ronaldo can create, but he shouldn't be, its more for the others too. It's precisely the reason why were struggling to get the very best out of him. You have a point on kulu and chiesa but I think it's asking a lot from their first season and their first top level club, especially kulu. Chiesa and kulu are the players you ideally slowly integrate and their inexperience means they'll probably make a lot of mistakes at the highest level. Than signings highlighted a season of transition. Chiesa has found himself but a household name would have been better for short term even if it was for a loan. Though for now we're gonna just have to suck it up but we're suffering from so many changes in the mid department in one season.

The Juve DNA is for Europe.

And they managed it so-so, so why not let a rookie try it too.

I wanted It to work like any other user and was blinded by the cool fucker and legendary mid Pirlo is, but god was it a terrible decision to hire someone who's never coached a team before to steady a ship like Juve.

Not that much of a surprise when I think about it now.

To go back to the original point - A cunt like Conte would get much more out of this group of mediocre mids we have. He's a better motivator than Pirlo and also drills movements into his players heads - much necessary when they don't have a brain to think for themselves, like Bentancur.

What I find interesting is he seems confident enough to stick with the same strategy in the second leg. Porto are known for attacking quality so it might work out well.

Our best setup then would have to be boner in middle with 3 in the back, Artur then 4-2. This would take pressure off, and when Artur is out Rabiot covers. This squad needs to spend 2 weeks only on passing drills though godamn.
