This is exactly the problem. We chose our coach for being likable rather than having a proper coaching experience. That's no way to run a business or an actual football team. It's also one of the reason why there is no criticism (and also very little improvement) coming from outside. He has been too highly praised as a footballer and made too many friends throughout the years as a player. The nepotism is too strong in this.

I envy people who have immunity against COVID, but I also envy people who have immunity against criticism and even sacking. He's done a bad job so far and no media outlet is ripping him apart (like they were doing Sarri or Allegri).

Everyone wants a new Scudetto winner, and I mean absolutely everyone.

I think it's unfair to say that he hasn't improved over the course of the season. The issue is consistency and not having a bad game after a bunch of good games so regularly.

What pisses me off are those short corners we keep taking. We have fucking CR7 in our squad, De Ligt and Bonucci and we do these unneccesary short combinations which often end up with counter attacks from the oposing team.

Not every coach is a Zidane. Pirlo is more Arteta than Zidane at this point, and I don't think he's ever going to reach Zidane's levels, but it's not his fault entirely. His stint at Juventus is going to be quite damaging for the rest of his coaching career.

Idk about you, but for me the coach might have changed, but the expectations didn't. Pirlo doesn't get a free pass because he's a rookie.

With a squad like ours, not even necessarily the first eleven, but the sheer depth we have (In Covid times), you better win the league - and If you don't - it was a failure. The run will come to an end eventually, true, but I don't see why we should let that happen this season.

We have a chance if we fire Pirlo and hire a proper coach (Allegri). We have two games with Milan and with this team we can beat them home and away that’s 6 points more for us. We can beat Napoli too, and the gap would be 1 point with Milan. They will drop points on the way. If we continue with Pirlo i expect gap to be biggee than it is right now.

The problem with Pirlo isn't tactical, he showed that the team can play at a very high level in some important games and/or after losing some points. The problem is his failure to inject motivation and consistency into this group of players who started the season thinking they are invincibles.

The fix is in Pirlo's hands only. He needs to start showing some authority and stop being too friendly with these players.
