When you‘re playing only 2 midfielders time and again despite knowing we have a weak midfield, then it’s not about having the right players or not, it’s about having absolutely no clue about coaching.
As great a player he was, as clueless a coach he’s become.
IT’S TIME TO GO!
If he is only playing 2 midfielders, maybe he is trying to use the strengths of the other parts of the team to compensate for the shit mids we have.

He knows all about the strength of a 3 man midfield, he played in them his entire life. We don't have a good 3 that's consistent enough for him to continue playing them. Plus injuries in that area haven't helped: Arthur is out, Ramsey is out. It seems to be that our worse midfielders are the ones that never get injured LOL

How would you line up?
Be more specific: of the AVAILABLE players, how would you lineup?

I think it would be hard for any coach right now to find a balance between such a weak midfield and so many changes to include younger players. Easier for a defense to be strong despite a weak midfield, but IMO its more difficult for an offense to remain consistent without any support behind it.

Improving our midfield will improve Pirlo's odds significantly next season (or any coach). Transitions suck, but necessary. We are in ours right now and Pirlo was smacked in the middle of it. Our squad will be improved this summer so I'd want to see what Pirlo can do with a team that is more balanced from back to front.
Transitions suck, but the team Pirlo has been given imo is stronger than the ones Allegri and Sarri had in 18/19 and 19/20, Paratici did a good job in summer. All 5 of Kulu, Chiesa, Arthur, Morata and McKennie have been hits, 4 of our top5 goalscorers are new signings.

True but we were also without MDL (injury), Chiellni (injury), Sandro (injury), Dybala (injury/covid), Arthur (injury), Demiral (injury)

This guy NEVER gets a full squad. It's annoying. We started a season with 3 CBs recovering form serious injuries/surgery. Plus we keep getting injuries to important players.

That HAS to have an effect.

Mind you, squads like Inter & Milan have improved as well, mostly Inter so its normal we will suffer along with way during a transition period when other squads are also getting stronger. I don't see nearly as many injuries to key players at those clubs as I'm seeing at Juventus.

That's standard Juventus, we never have a full squad.

So, IMO I think its unfair to criticize the coach IN PART to our retarded medical staff (this goes for Max, Sarri, Pirlo).

For whatever reason, I can't understand how we have so many medical issues. I mean, obviously its partly b/c we buy injury prone players but even ones that aren't we manage to break them.

For a start, i wouldn’t play only 2 central midfielders along with Bernie on the wing. Shit like that is just beyond retarded, and pretty much anything is better than that.
If Wes was not a 100%, then give Fagioli a chance.
Agree about Fagioli. Kid deserves more PT (even as an early sub).

tbh I'm amazed how Ronaldo isn't injured yet, they guy is 36 and since new year we have barely rested him at all, he hardly even gets subbed.

B/C he takes better care of himself than our medical team ever could of this team.

If I were Ronaldo, I'd tell the medical team to fuck off and find his own specialists.

Sure, Sarri shouldn't ever have happened and Pirlo isn't ready but we never fixed the midfield issue.

The quality has been gradually going down after the Vidal/Pirlo/Pogba days. We replaced them with players who never had one third of the talent those guys did and then we replace those with ones that are even worse.

Aside from poor managerial appointments there were some poor signing decisions made.
Management cannot be held accountable for any of the above points

I don't. But the series of wins shouldn't have to end here, and if it does, it's down to not having a coach. Say whatever you want, not winning the league is a failure, and keeping Pirlo even beyond that, offers zero guarantees of a different outcome for next season. It remains a huge gamble.
A few years ago, during the privileged Allegri days I was talking with a Jventino friend of mine and we both came to a conclusion (the superiority we had both in squad and manager) that the disappointment in not winning the league was higher than the joy in winning it. At that moment it was just talk because that's how winning the league could have been taken for granted. At the beginning of the season when we got rid of the cancer and replaced him by Pirlo, the joy of just kicking his ass (FUCK SARRI!) was overwhelming. I still do not have expectations from Pirlo what so ever. I am excited about the matches and while sometimes we suck ass big time, I still sit on the edge of the seat waiting for the match to end (except for the league match against Inter, that I turned off as it was simply unwatchable).

I guess what I am trying to say is that we, fans, will not feel that disappointment in not winning the league yet. We will only feel it when we see it. Some, like you, may have already given up and pictured the result and got the disappointment, some haven't. In the end it is not about expectations or bars being lowered, t's about perception mostly. For me getting rid of the bum is equivalent to winning the CL.
