Its all in the head really. Its always in the head. We beat Barca mostly because Barca have a seriously damaged mentality at the moment and self confidence. On the other hand, we played with our heart and brain tonight and all this combines brought us this result. On Sunday we play Genoa, a relegation contender and 100 times weaker than Barca, but if we go out and play like we really want the win rather then play like we deserve the win, then we will have a problem. Its always in the head.

Mentality isn't everything, but it is one of the most important factors.

Credit when its due, the game was spot on. We had some big rough pátches but the players had the right mentality and focus for once and pirlos changes were spot on, a little late but spot on

This sort of football is only possible when Arthur-Ramsey-McKenie play together, leta not kid ourselves. The pace of our play is nowhere near what we witnessed tonight when Rabiot and Bentancur play together.
It's all about balance. For example Bentancur-McKennie-Ramsey worked perfectly against Dinamo as well because we played a 3-5-2 there too. A significant amount of our terrible performances have been with the 2-man midfield that is simply too soft and easy to pass if we play players like Arthur and Rabiot there together.

It's the same 4-4-2 defensive shape in every single match. The difference is Ramsey and McKennie are able to get in the opponent's box and still recover and come back into the 4-4-2 shape.

They just run more. Ramsey's top form is simply unapproachable by the others. He is defending in the 4-4-2, but he can also play the ball in tight spaces, and he also can get into the box when our forwards vacate it.

And then you have McKennie who plays comfortably without the ball and offers himself in the box all match as well.

But Paratici will make a fucking Pikachu face if he finds out that CMs that run all game and can play every inch of the park make your team better. Buy more #6's :tuttosport:

Under certain conditions, yes (counterparts and future deals with Raiola/Haaland).

But I don't see a natural fit for him in this formation. For me, he is a mezzala in a 4-3-3, supporting a lone striker, with responsible wingers who track back.

The problem is he enjoys the same space that Ronaldo does on the left side, in the half space area.
