He said all the right words today imo, hopefully he will also do the right things and ofc make the right choices, in my perspective it enhanced even more the belief that all in all appointing him under current circumstances was/is a gamble definitely worth taking.

So what I gathered from Pirlo today is:

We will press the hell out of a team when we lose possession but the goal is to keep possession. We can play 3 at the back or 4, he hasn't decided but won't rule out the flexibility. All top players can play with one another, that's why they are top players and Dybala rumors are false.
Love it. Love it all.

So nice to see a coach say he will be flexible after Sarri

This is another big gamble. All I can do is back him and hope it goes well, but I'm not at all impressed with the club.
Wise words JJ!!
And Pirlo showed a balanced and positive attitude at his interview.
Imo we got Pirlo for the money, Cr7 stays for the money (taxes) and Higuain leaves for the money (not just a high salary, but also old contract which means +100% taxes)
I wonder what those sacrifices mean? Playing out of favorite role, rotation?

I hope Pirlo can make our players train hard and transform.
Bayern and Flick could be a good example. They have a very great form post Covid. There should be a reason and one of the reason is their players really committed to training, diet, etc during at home

I remember there was one military guy in Lippi's training staff back in the day. That Juve blitzkrieged Europe in those two seasons that we unluckily lost the finals to Dortmund and Real.

That's nice and all but I'm worried his calmness and reserved persona will affect us negatively in the dressing room when our players need some motivation or a slap in the face after a poor performance.

These 3 Gentlemen are known as the most calm and reserved coaches around, dont raise their voices, and they have 7 CL titles amongst them:

When he scored, Max (laughing) walks straight to the tunnel
Max had the best reaction ever when he walked to the tunnel.

But that team though, how many game changers we had? Compare that to what we have now

So the only picture of Lippi you could find was that with an inter suit? :D

Great first presser.

Beautiful and comforting to see CLASS representing the club again. Said all the right things, confirmed that he won’t stick to any 1 formation, 3 or 4 at the back when needed, wants to bring back enthusiasm, confirmed Dybala stays and Higuain leaves, made demands to the club for players.

The man oozes confidence and a type of silent charisma. Juve style. I have nothing but high hopes with this legend in charge

Forza Maestro!

Is it me or is his talking style similar to Allegri?

Very similar for me. Maybe not as jokey, but that might come with time. I get the same type of impression from him in general from him that I got from Max

And I love how he told the press, “I have already asked the club about some players, but don’t expect me to tell you guys”.

we analyzing conferences now? man we have reached new desperation.

i will give pirlo benefit of doubt we he starts delivering in his actions. words don't mean anything. coaches are like politicians in that regard.

We have always analysed conferences. Where have you been all that time?

nah. evra's error shouldn't be the blame.

here, everyone talks about allegri like he was flawless, but one thing i hated about him in the CL is that he was a reactionary coach. he waits until too many mistakes happen, then rallies the team to try and fight back.

don't believe me?

bayern tdominate us at home, we have to fight back hard to eqaualize and leave it late to lose. why didnt we plan to win from the start in first leg?

against dortmund. narrow win in first leg at home, then have to produce outstanding performance in second leg to secure win. why not guarantee it from first leg?

happened in madrid in 2014-15 campaign

happened in madrid in 2017-18 campaign

happened in in both CL finals in first half where juve looked very nervous from start

happened vs spurs.

happened vs atletico.

only season where juve looked convincing in knockout rounds from the beginning was in the 16-17 campaign. rest is proof allgeri was too much of a reactionary coach. and for that it was the right decision to let him go

This pirlo moment is definitely up there. My favorite in this era was this free kick
I was super tense and to mess with me my older brother switched off the TV right before DP took the shot. I didnt know if it went in or not and when I turned it back on Alex was running with this big smile on his face
