I though Pirlo played a pretty decent first half.

Conte was right to sub him when he did, though.
Agreed. People seemb to only look at players when they do gamedefining things that are fancy, and forget everything in between.

Pirlo was excellent in the buildup, and defensively did his part keeping the diamond cage on the midfield, tactically good.

should even have had an assist to pogba.

When we couldnt keep up with 10 players and real went for the more mobile isco and bale, subbing asamoah instead but also bringing giovinco, was the correct choise indeed

Pirlo did absolutely nothing the whole match, except for give the ball away twice right by our box, much like he did against Bayern last year.

The guy is finished. Move the fuuck on already.

Not sure what the deal is with pirlo. He's seemed really lethargic in his movements lately, perhaps he is getting old or maybe Conte has instructed him to conserve energy on the defensive movements since he plays almost every game and Mister doesn't seem to trust rotating him with any other player in our squad.

He's an underrated tackler, his technique in that aspect is completely solid but he in europe he needs to be constantly closing down opposition players in his position and he isn't. i dont buy any of this talk about him being finished yet he is a liability sitting static in his position in a match like todays where we don't have constant possession and are up against class attacking players. There needs to be an alternative setup which doesn't rely on him so much.

He is a liability as he keeps giving the ball away right in front of our 18 against better teams. His age is also a liability. Time to get a replacement before it's seriously too late.

Yes he really has become a liability since late last March.

But for some reason it just seems like he doesn't give a fuck as opposed to him falling off of his game.

That would be too easy of an out.
