I'd love for him to stay with us for another season, but if he fulfils all his goals with us (3rd straight Scudetto, CL and Coppa triumphs), I can see him leaving for a new challenge at another club. In an ideal world, he'd stay around with us for another season or two and retire in Bianconero. Legend.
If he does leave on those terms, ideally a treble season, I hope Montreal Impact snag him. They already have Nesta, who will retire there and he's Pirlo's best friend. Plus, I can watch the games on television + make trips to Montreal to see the Impact.

Totti or Pirlo, hell Totti and Pirlo for the Impact after the WC speculation. :fap:

Totti said if he doesn't retire for Roma, he may go to MLS.

The problem I see with Pirlo is that MLS is a very physically demanding game and Pirlo plays a relative conservative style of play. I know if I were him I would retire with Juve on top.

I heard a rumor a couple months ago that Nesta would retire at the end of this season to go into coaching, but it was never widely reported so maybe it isn't true. I know he gave an interview at the beginning of the MLS season where he said he was strongly thinking about it though. Regardless, even if Nesta keeps playing I doubt it will be for more than one more year, so not sure if they would ever be able to be reunited.

I think he mentioned earlier he wants to stay at major league with a major team and that is definitely not going to be MLS.

Nesta's physicality is at a steep decline, I don't think playing in MLS helped. Wasn't he linked to some Serie A teams after leaving Milan? It is sad since he is a liability often in the Impact games I watch,

Any speculation/guesses?

Not his best match. Seemed to lack a bit of concentration. But was decent!

He's best friends with Matri, though, so perhaps the sale of Ale influenced him. We know that Pirlo is a very emotional man. They would always sit next to eachother on the Juve bus, share a hotelroom and could always been seen in pics together.
