He was phenomenal this year; he went from being finished in his last year with AC Milan, to being the best midfielder in the world with Juventus one year later. Great comeback for Pirlo...

They are VERY different to be sincere. One is all about vision, accurate passes, dribbles and control of the pace of the game (Pirlo). The other was all about endless running and tackling, destructive long shoots from outside the area and a never ending will of winning (Pavel).

One more inclined on the technical aspect, the other more inclined on grinta and attitude.

Pavel is my fav and will forever be, but Pirlo´s game is insane and just a few prodigies can reach that level.

Both legends in their own merit in the end.


Sidenote: Even as good as pirlo is, he is one level below the grandmaster of all times on the midfield.... the great Zidane.
