Agnelli should show some dignity and recognize the mess he created and exit the club with his head held high. In doing so he should just forgo his shares in the club with no pay-out. At the very least remain owner but get a new CEO and forgo his CEO salary for this season. Not stay on like a leech to fill his pockets with money while preaching his love for the club.

When Agnelli starts doing that, I'll start expecting the same "honorable" behaviour that puts the club first from Pirlo

Well since the club is kinda his, how can AA can leech from it?
You can actually say that AA pours his money through Elkan in the club who as you know isn't profitable.
You can hardly make the far far far fetched comparison with Pirlo.

You should actually commend AA and Exor for not dumping a failing business, like Juve to some American, Arab or Chinese businesses like most other clubs, as they tried to keep it Italian.
BTW not saying it would be a bad ideea to sell if it turns out good, but you cannot say AA or Elkan are leeching for the club, without sounding uninformed.
I wonder how much are they going to leech this year with probably at least - 200 million on the balance sheet.

I wonder if you were a billionaire and had a club like Juve which almost always losses money year on year, would you still pour money into it(because you care for it), or stop "leeching" (sell it to the highest bidder and do without the headache).

He can step down as CEO and remain as a share holder and give away his big CEO salary.

Also you are aware that companies like Uber are not profitable and yet they make their owners very very rich people. Salaries and stock options aside, the larger the net worth of Juve the richer Agnelli gets.

Without Agnelli/Elkan Juve would have been in a pretty deep shit. They have invested, only in the last 10 years, more than 500m into the club. Sure, AA made some terrible business moves lately so hes basically burning his family's money on expensive toy. No ROI whatsoever. But pretty sure leeching doesnt mean that u need spend your own money and get just a fraction of it in return.

Whats his salary? What is the ratio between his salary and invested money through Exor?

Juventus is insignificant when u take a look at their other venues and Juve's net worth in their portfolio. For sentinental reasons, passion, they have supported it so far. They would certainly fare a lot better taking their money elsewhere.

I also dont get hate for Elkan. AA asks for funding but Elkan being the chairman of Exor gives approval. He might not be as passionate about the club but there are strong ties regardless.

I don't think anyone hates Elkann here except for Turk who thinks 'the jew' was behind Calciopoli and Badass who still probably believes Elkann likes investing in cricket :lol3:

Elkann and EXOR has done enough for this club already. It's Agnelli and his cronies in the management who have messed up this club from top to bottom since the past few years.

Oh everyone knew exactly what went wrong - DP injury.
Granted injuries played a part, Zidane was also recovering from knee at the start but we were still more than good enough to beat the likes of Roma, Bologna Cagliari and Parma, the latter while decent we incidentally lost twice against. We came out the of the CL group with luck, we scraped it on the last matchday. Performances were meh and we were scraping victories not to forget we started the season with a defeat in supercopa.

Sorry not all DP.

If Agnelli's ever sell Juve that would be devastating cause they are an important part of this club's appeal.

Buffon disappointed by Pirlo

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, his relationship with Andrea Pirlo is one reason why Buffon decided to leave the Old Lady for the second time in his career.
They are close friends and won many trophies together, including the World Cup. However, paper suggests Buffon ‘wanted to play more games this season and hoped he could be more involved within the dressing room

So Pirlo is staying next season?? Those papers are soo stupid..

Definitely Project Pirlo for one more year

The relationship between Pirlo and the team is at an all-time low: the players, who are not willing to take all the blame for this year. Above all, they don't like the training sessions proposed by the technical staff, too bland and lacking of intensity but Agnelli still has faith in Pirlo. [Gazzetta Dello Sport]

gazzetta & co on a roll today:
- buffon left because of pirlo
- ronaldo separated, team didn't like his privileges
- team didn't like pirlo mentioning mckennie's weight the other day
- all-time low relationship between team and pirlo

what else?

yeah, the nedved-tici shouting at the parking lot the other day

their bottom line: we are a mess.

honestly, fuck the press, even when we're a mess indeed.

Of course they lack intensity, we can press for barely 10/15 minutes before we run out of gas. Our games are a perfect reflection of the coach's character and his training methods.

I can believe these 'reports'. It's a complete disarray within the club, nobody was prepared for this kind of catastrophe aka missing out on CL.

It's clear to me that Pirlo has lost the locker room, the players don't look motivated, they have no idea what to do on the pitch and in general all the heads are lowered. No confidence, no organization, no physical preparation. Lethargic and clueless team, while we all know that most of those players are way better than that.
