Everyone in Italy hates us. After the SL mess, most big clubs in Europe probably hate us too.

lol we torched our reputation rebuilt after 2006

bravo
cooking books is probably a less serious offence for the public eye than alleged cheating though :boh:

anyway, la juve ruba, whatever we do. we cheated when we had the best squad, we always cheated, we won dozens of titles by cheating, never by being the best. i wouldn't worry too much about the public opinion. sponsorships are a more difficult matter, they can leave you after a badly timed fart nowadays

also, i don't mind the hate. i'd prefer if they feared us. rebuilding that status will take an other few years unfortunately

The relaunch of Juventus would be given to Allegri and Cherubini, but without any new capital increase the January mercato will be without any bangs. In the bianconero environment a return of Nedved would not be excluded.

Quite like the sound of Ferrero. Seems straight laced with a strong background in governance which seems like the big issue.

Add in a good Sporting Director and a link between the fans/players eg Del Piero and you have the making of a well constructed management team.

Talking to a solicitor friend it comes to a couple of things:
- if we made hidden salary payments to players during COVID, it's financial fraud and the management get bans while we get a fine
- if we inflated prices of players to cook the books thus giving us a sporting advantage, that's sports fraud and we can be docked points or relegated

I don't think it can be proven that we inflated prices of players and they can reopen or do a new investigation but I doubt it works because of the Pjanic move to Barcelona who are seemingly immune.

The financial fraud gonna be a hefty fine for us but I'm not worried about relegation.

"Juventus accounted for transfers of players above fair value..." LOOOOOLLLLL

Yes, like the swap of Pjanic and Arthur with BARCELONA?
The transfer value argument is complete nonsense. Firstly the value is what two clubs decide they are willing to pay/sell for. How can someone on the outside decide what their value is? I don't think Jack Grealish is worth 100m but it doesn't make it fraud.

Secondly, we have to amortised the cost of Arthur in our accounts every year until his contract expires. Any gain on selling Pjanic is more than wiped out by this. Its not like the price of Arthur disappears.

Why?

There's a court hearing in December on the legality of UEFA's monopoly. I hope the verdict favours the ESL
Because it's a lost cause for which the club pays on every level.

Do you believe EU will go against UEFA? Lol, that's a good one. Both contain corrupt bureaucrats that are buddies in the name of remaining in their positions.
