Management basically finessed the books

With reference to the issues relating the so-called “salary manoeuvres” (“manovre stipendi”) of the financial years 2019/2020 and 2020/2021, the Board of Directors acknowledged the complexity of such profiles on valuation elements which may be subject to different interpretations regarding applicable accounting
treatments and carefully considered possible alternative treatments.

as you said italian press knows everything, if there would be punishments we'd already knew. might be some wishful thinking. i still think that the plusvalenza case was some bs witch hunt, those shady payments outside of the balance sheet are more serious claims even if they are equally hard to prove

as for agnelli, he might be out of allies, supporters and options. superleague looks like a dead end, gravina can't wait to punish juve, zhang is his bff in the league lol, from eca president to pariah in europe, shareholders might have had enough of the capital raises, results are terrible, squad quality is in downfall, new marketing strategy is a joke, i mean there are plenty of reasons to get rid of him
Exactly. I think the investigation itself was enough of a kick in the pants to push the board to move Agnelli and adding in all the other factors that have seen a loss of reputation among other European clubs (even if replacing UEFA is the right hting to do as they hold a monopoly on continental football) the way it has been done has been disasterous to our reputation.

Thank fuck the self-entitled prick is gone, he's been too cocky for a few years now. His complacency was too harmful.

Now just quit the ESL bs, the tax for something so useless and unrealistic is too high to pay.
Fixing european football is important but it shouldn't be at the risk of us. We're already in a perilous position having to face the growing riches of the EPL. To put the club at risk is just too much.

And the club overspent. It's as simple as that. The club is blowing through money under Agnelli. Bye bye.
