Fire both Nedved and Paratici. Replace Nedved with Lippi in an advisor role and get DoF from outside of Italy, ideally someone who worked in Spain or England, someone who has experience and willingness to listen to the coach and work closely with him on signing players. Andrea Berta from At. Madrid would be my first choice. Don't know much about Giovanni Sartori from Atalanta and their hierarchy but at least from outside it seemed like they signed players that fit what Gasperini wanted. None of Carnevali or Tare, both seem like authoritarian figures.

As for Khedira, stupid Beppe gave him a baffling 2-year contract in September'18 after Sami had a terrible, terrible season (39 games, 9 goals, 6 assists), while wise Paratici was lucky enough to give Ramsey a modest 4-year contact after Ramsey had an excellent, excellent season (40 games, 6 goals, 8 assists).
