We do need to make a change sooner rather than later nonetheless, can imagine a temporary patch for now untill we reassess through the summer but there are few realistic cheap options that would accept only a temporary job and actually be capable of guaranteeing a top 4 finish at this stage i’m afraid.... we’ll see how this one pans out but the management sure can’t afford to just keep watching this mess without making some drastic changes soon. No doubt it’s a rather sad and uncomfortable situation to find ourself in but it is what it is.

The other thing is I’m the optimist, heck, I was excited by Del Neri, and I was unhappy when Conte got rid of Ziegler without giving him a chance.
But unlike you my darling muppet I’m more than willing to admit when I’m wrong, so yeah, I thought this mercato could be good, I was against Pirlo but also ready to give him a chance etc. But now that time has passed I won’t be an asshole and say that only Pirlo is at fault for this mess...

The summer mercato was not a bad one, all of the new signings bar Kulu have settled in reasonably well and the guys they replaced this season have proved they are done / not up to par quality wise.
Individually there's a decline in output from players like Rabiot, Bentancur, Dybala, Bonucci and others, who for large periods were much better under Sarri. But overall the big problem is how the team is set up, overcomplicated mess of a system with amateurish weak points.

Khedira gave us a few seasons of great service at least and did allow us to compete at a high level. Rabiot, Ramsey and Arthur have given us nothing and don't look like they will reach peak Khedira levels. I'm grateful for Khedira's service, he was a class act and it was the injuries that finished him.
Let's not forget all of this started when he fired Marotta. Then he sacked Allegri. And then he allowed real fighters like Mandzukic be pissed upon and taken out like trash.

mandzukic had to go! he wasn't even considered by sarri and earning a fat wage. What would you have done? kept him on, play 0 minutes and still take home 5 mill a season and constraining ourselves in the market more?
You know whats funny, many here got pissed we didn't sign mandzukic in January when milan did. As much as I appreciate his contribution when he was playing for us I'm glad we never brought him back and his form for Milan proves why just as I thought would be the case too.

I’m pretty sure this was indicative of the issues everyone else had with Agnelli in the past with his ego on public display. Only can imagine how much worse it was behind closed doors, which most likely led to the departure of great key role board members (Marotta) and some managers. (Allegri Conte) pulling Juve into his spiraling demise.
