Oh pardon me. Only 14 trophy in 7 years?! Such tools man.
You're insufferable. They do care more about the business aspect and plusvalenza. They behave like tools. Some of our sales and acquisitions have been underwhelming and "tool" like. We win mostly due to very good coaching and pathetic competition. Yes, the board have a role to play, but it's minimal when it comes to on field results. I also don't like the "player can leave if they want to policy." We don't have to be nice, bend over, and show too much appreciation and respect to the likes of Barca, Madrid, and Bayern. We are supposed to be looking to topple them every single year, not cast an envious glance or be in awe of their accomplishments.

The management role is minimal. Of course lol. The coaching staff just showed up uninvited and the squad built itself up.
Winning in Italy is like winning every event in the special Olympics consecutively, while you are fully physically able. Winning continentally is what matters. If we keep winning in Italy and fail to do so in Europe our feat will be a lot less convincing and we'd look like flat track bullies. Lyon winning 7 is amazing :baus:

We've been only behind Real and possibly Barca in the past 5 years. Lyon never been in the top 10.

At the end of the day, we remember the #1 spot, not #3 or #4 or #2. The Dutch National team has had many legendary sides but none won shit, who remembers 'em?

That's the shitty thing even about our pre-calciopoli sides with Pavel and Co, or Zidane's and Inzaghi, they were GREAT sides, but only Juve fans remember them as they haven't won shit on the continental level, came close but didn't win. Second place is the first loser.

Specially after calciopoli people don't respect those 7 in a row, even non serie a fans claim it's rigged, or one sided, it's domininant but we need more. I don't wanna lose ANY league title race EVER but I'd like to have some bigger trophies too.

Sad but true.

Even if the 90s team had won another CL in that era, it would've been up there among the greatest teams. Instead we're more remembered for choking to inferior teams in the final and that infamous doping scandal as well.

Unfortunately that's our legacy.

Funny how at the time the teams weren't rated that highly

It just seems a bit spoilt to me to complain about what we didn't win during this epic era
How is it spoilt and how am i complaining here ? I'm just saying we had our chances to win a CL during that era. Everyone would've loved a CL victory here especially after coming so close but everything is treated as 'spoilt' or 'complaining' if you argue against it. Absolutely ridiculous.

We're suppose to demand more, specially when these targets are attainable and are long overdue milestones.
Long overdue milestones, how do you figure that?

Attainable, yes because we've proven we can be among the best. But we have been over achieving imo. We're what, 8th to 10th in the money rankings? Yet only Barca, Bayern and Real have been better in the last 5 years.

"Should've won" "missed an opportunity" means we didnt meet your expectations. Like only winning what we won and not winning a CL is failure, rather than recognising what we did a great achievement.

1997, 1998, 2003, 2015, 2017

These are our most recent UCL final losses, majority of them were vs inferior opponents.
Our last UCL victory was 22 years ago in 1996, if a UCL title isn't long overdue I don't know what is.

Even before that whole money talk shit, we were one of the richest clubs in the world and were more powerful then the likes of Man U, Barca, etc. Yet we couldn't have secured a UCL after god know how many eras, it's pathetic specially for a club that claims that winning is the only thing that matters.

Just like all the other generations, we're keeping up with tradition.
Key to success is keeping your stars and building around them. We completely rebuild all the time and it'd be naive to expect to win a CL trophy by doing this. We come close but there are teams like Barca or Real who have the same strong core and stop us. Need to follow their system. But.. I quess our wallet ain't letting us do to that.

And who isnt recognizing the great achievement of the club ? Is it always black or white for you or what ? What Juventus have done over the past few years is amazing and maybe this core generation of players could've/should've signed off with a CL. Atleast Buffon or Barzagli have a world cup to their name. Chiellini and Marchisio dont have a single international trophy to their name on the other hand. Needless argument but you had to pop in like some forum police and shut the 'complainers' up. Apparently reflecting on what could've been for Juventus in Europe is a spoilt attitude too.....
