Because youre icky. Talking about the need for squad upgrades after the ref being the only deciding factor against the two time CL winners just shows that you dont care about the team, you care about your opinion and will take any opportunity to spin whatever is going on so it backs your opinion.

wat? That doesn't even make any sense. So, by your logic we make zero moves this summer because of a ref today?

Credit to Agnelli even though it's unlike us to complain. That said he has no choice but to come out CL has always been about them little moments and ironically it's them very decisions that cost us. I'm no believer of conspiracy because I don't want to sound like a nipples fan but he's absolutely right this ref was not up for the occassion and made decisions through emotion rather than logic. Is it a coincidence? I don't know let's see if Real actually win it before I say something.

Why was he attacking Collina?
Collina is the designator who picked the ref..
And since collina such a holyman, he wouldn't pick an actual ref, instead pick ref that have a good history agaist juve, to make him look objective..
Like cengir on 1st leg, and today too.

And he also pushing for var implementation in CL, we all know uefa already rejected that notion once this year. Don't know why they will after this shameful debacle.

I hope more ppl look up to ref favoritism, real, and barca clearly got alot of those in the last decade.

If people want VAR to prevent this sort of thing happening but also are convincing refs help the Barca's and RM's of the world then what difference is VAR going to make? They can always stick to their decision regardless of what the tiny screen says.

It won't be fixed overnight. But over a couple of seasons you'll see things even out. Right now they can hide behind 'it was a spur of the moment' decision. When VAR is implemented, correctly, that will change. It's by no means perfect in Serie A or the Bundesliga. Then again it's only the first season and it can only get better.

VAR removes the excuse of missing something in the heat of the moment, way harder to make dodgy calls if there is properly implemented VAR (with that I mean with clear guidelines, unlike in Serie A currently). Refs always have the excuse of not seeing or seeing it all so fast, but if they have time to analyze the incident, most of the times there's just one possible decision.

I agree with the premise of VAR, don't get me wrong. What I'm asking is if Refs are truly in the back pocket of Madrid, what makes anyone think they will suddenly start making the right decision? If they want to favor RM, they will do it regardless I guess is what I'm saying.

nah. you know what happened in 2002? Blatter came out after the South Korea triumphs and said that Spain and Italy deserved to go out for not using their chances and that ref is only human and cannot get every incident right. with VAR you remove that excuse, no more ref cannot see it from every angle and on repeat, if he makes several mistakes in a game, he needs to be removed, because he's not qualified
