In the end the captain of the ship is the one who bears the ultimate responsibility. In this case AA.

It’s like a surgeon blaming his staff if any thing goes wrong.
This is 100% correct. At the end of the day he's in charge and if he continues to oversee the same problems over and over again without reacting then he's no better than his staff.

Last year he said that Allegri was staying after Ajax. Then we he got fired AA said it wasn't because of style of football but they felt the disconnect in the team, as in 'players gave up on the coach' because of that bad run in Serie A after Ajax.

So if he's consistent Sarri needs to go too no matter the result because there's clearly a disconnect between him and the team too. Only this time we need to get rid of the coach AND most of the players.

Also, it's been two DoFs now and both are signing players without much input from the coach. And Beppe at least seems to be signing players Conte wants so far. So maybe it isn't on DoFs but it's team policy coming from the top...

Oh boy did he look nervous tonight, and who would blame him. Never do I remember seeing him tense watching Juve games under Allegri, even as a fan I'm sure deep down he's questioning his decision.
Reports last season were that he never wanted to part ways with Max.

But since he turned over ops to the two morons he didn't want to come over the top and undermine them.

Classic leadership dilemma
