What a surprise.
And before you get ready to type 'no surprise either from the Marotta / board lackey' (again), have a stop and think who has the problem here.
Your personal pride and axe to grind is making you type nonsense.
What personal pride are you alluding to? The Ale situation? No, not at all. In fact, I am hoping and praying Marrotta proves me wrong this summer because he's got a huge platform to get things right. Look up the early pages of this thread, I was ecstatic at Andrea's arrival. Look up the early pages of Mrrotta's read, was happy to have Secco replaced too. Just calling things as I see em. Might be an individual perspective, but it is my opinion all the same, without any agenda whatsoever. I'm overjoyed we won the scudetto and I genuinely believe Conte deserves 90% of the credit for that. It could've so easily gone wrong like it did with Del Neri, who was coach in Andrea's first season here.

Did Conte force himself into becoming Juventus' coach without Agnelli's and Marotta's concern?
I was against their selection of Conte, but boy am I not happy to be proven wrong. Was it a lucky guess? Could be or could be not. There's no shame in being wrong though, especially on such things about football.
.
Purely on the surface of it, did Conte qualify to be our coach after two horrible seasons? Like you, I was against the decision and thought we needed a coach with more guarantee. But he seemed like a popular choice among the fans and Andrea eventually chose him for being Juventino. I doubt he chose him knowing it would end up this way. Like Ahmed said, extremely fortunate, calculated move. And you're absolutely right, it's fantastic to be proven wrong when a decision turns out to be everything you could dream of.
