Personally, i would be pleased with that, as long as i dont see us throwing money away, like we have done for the last e years...

Not having money to buy is one thing, having them and waste is totally another thing...and that was the main issue so far and where our transfer policy has FAILED.

it like the last paragraph of mou's pre-match comments on C4 ...

“I agree we should not spend too much and the best way to avoid that is to think back on how money has been wasted before. If I take three youngsters into the first team and remove three who earn £9m, with that money we can buy a world class star.”

Fact is, we need too many new players to replace our dead wood.
First of all, I'd be more than happy if we could get Zapata for example.
But in times of emergency, like injury, we will still be hooked up with the Mellberg & Legrottaglie (Knezevic???) replacements.
Maybe we need to get rid of them and give our youngsters some chance (even though Ariaudo is not up for the task yet, he won't do much worse than the two in mentioned above).

Next to that, we REALLY need a trainer who is willing to play Giovinco weekly. Together with Diego and Camoranesi they'll cause enough trouble and a lot of creativity (dont blame Camo on his bad form in recent weeks, he just hates playing in this atmosphere).
Sissoko is good enough but some extra benchpower is a must.

If we could get Lavezzi up front than that has to be it.

Too much new signings will be a problem with the squad harmony. They still don't know eachother and so on. The fact is we need to build a very competitive squad within a few years.
The only bad thing about this all, we have been trying that, but almost every signing we made to become a competitive side has widely regarded as a flop, and we eventually even need to replace them.
