I start to think trez is on hes way out, if not trez then Iaquinta - I think one them will be sold.

Then I think one of Zanetti, Tiago or Poulsen will go, probably as a deal sweetener.

For the youth an co-owner ships. who knows.

Hopefully not too many will leave, as the core is prety good we just needed added quality and could use the extra depth from not selling.

On a personal note, I think I have started to prefer selling trez and zanetti. Even though i love the guy, he is getting old and this is prob the last chance to get something out of him. The good thing is, ill still be happy if he stays. Zanetti hasnt been used this year, and could figure in a deal for a good italian defender.

We dont have much chance to sign him. Roma already owned half of his contract with Udinese owning the other half. After he has played so well I would expect Roma to buy the remainder of the contract in the summer.
If Roma own 1/2 then we can buy the other 1/2 from Udinese, but I think he is loaned to Roma with an option to buy him permanently! in this case we have no chance...

In my opinion, we have to part with Trez:cry: (while we still cant get some good cash for him), Tiago, one of Zebina or Grygera and Knezevic anyway! Depending on the incoming transfers, maybe we could offload Marchionni too...

I dont think we will buy a RB, so Zebina and Grygera will stay. Knezeviz is kind of meh... He is not worth anything, but he might be a good squad player, either way noone is gonna complain about that one.

What position does bastos play?

its true that knezecic doesnt matter that much.hes simply a squad player that we got for free and he can fill in in cases of emergency, hes not expected to be a regular

bastos is a LB/LW player

1- Buy Cassano
2- Buy Silva
3- Buy a RB
4- Buy a CB
5- If Trezeguet is to be sold, get Benzema for him
6- Buy a LB

Cassano number one on your list? I say he would be number three or four on mine. Buying Silva and some defensive reinforcements are more important to me right now.

Tiago is useless player for our team. I didn't see at least one match when he was excellent.
So we can get a cash for him and buy some one else.

I would prioritize this way:

1. Buy a RB
2. Buy a winger
3. Cassano
4. LB
5. CB

Of course, if Trezeguet leaves he will need to be replaced.

So you consider Molinaro+Legro a more reliable solution than DP+Giovinco?
Cassano if we don't get a good winger. For LB, we have Molinaro, De Ceglie and Criscito which I think is solid. For CB we have Legro and Mellberg who are solid as well.

I'd like to see those positions improve eventually, but first and foremost a RB and a Nedved/Camo replacement.

Cassano is not a winger and CR will nor replace Molinaro with a player our board didnt invest a penny on. We know for sure that he wont give DC a chance (he might even consider him as a LM) and Criscito will be brought to replace Knezevic mostly, def not as a starter LB.
Legro and Mellberg are more solid than DP and Trezequet?
Which pair do we honestly need to upgrade first?

I see how you're thinking but if we are not able to get a good winger, I think we could use some other top quality (Cassano). Of course, this would mean a switch of formation to accomodate two of DP, Gio and Antonio, meaning the departure of either Trezeguet or Iaquinta.

It's not ideal, but it's an option.

Criscito's played left back/left wing all season for Genoa and done it very well. He would compete with Molinaro and De Ceglie more than anyone else.

Who knows, he might prove to be competent in the middle.

My 1, 2 and 3 are top priority, order is insignificant there. Why is Cassano a top priority? Because he's a deal you shouldn't let go once more.
