Hamsik is the summer transfer requirement.
Hamsik is not a requirement. he would be a good signing. I wonder if he would be available now after his problems at Napoli and the change of coach. He is pretty junk when put out on the wing but he is good in the Center.. I have hear ppl on the forum have concerns of him fading out of games and not really dominating so he might excell in a formation such as the 433 you suggested with MArchisio and Momo doing the dominating and Hamsik going forward to support Giovinco.

I wish we would figure it out and sign someone as I can't stand the waiting for the summer and thinking of all the possibilities.

IMO, if we waste any more money for our forward line, our transfer campaign will be compromised even before it started.
Iaquinta and Amauri already took a great toll from our defense.
Its about time to strengthen our team where it hurts the most!!
Cassano should not be a priority!!! (unless of course, we change 4-3-3, which is highly unlikely and Seeco learns how to make a profit from the sale of our players, which never happened so far either...)
If we buy two more forwards, that would be absolutely insane!!!!

PS Since when Dowing is "highly rated" ???

He's just likely to be cheap with the way Middlesborough have been playing.

Even if Juve got Cassano, 4-3-3 may not be the greatest idea unless you can assure Tiago, Sissoko, and Poulsen will be consistent.

CR would be too scared too field such an offensive composition anyway.
And even if does have to field it, we will get raped when we will fall back and try to defend the lead with that defense...

Cheap=/= highly rated, why dont we take smth cheap, instead of Cassano and invest where we need smth highly rated!!

Even if we off load Iaquinta, we will still have DP, Giovinco, Amauri and Trezequet,
with Cassano we will have 6 player, 4 SSs and 2 CFs,
using a 4-3-3, only makes senses if we plan to use them, rather than just collecting them...

And yes, i expect Sissoko and Marchisio to be consistent and one of Tiago, Zanetti, Poulsen, Camo to fill up the remaining place and subber roles...
Of course,we will need a better defense, but our amateurish board denies that...

PS And yes, as long as CR is around, they are untouchable, esp Moli...

I think trident!
Cassano---Trez
------Giovinco---

P.S. I hope you are not serious about about asking me if I am serious about Grygera and Molinero being untouchable.
Switch Cassano and Gio and you may have something. It all hinges on the support from the flanks. In the current squad that support comes from Molinaro and Grygera.

PS. I think Molinaro is decent, but Juve can do better. Grygera is a waste of time at right back and has never looked comfortable there. Upgrade one of them and the team will function much better. ;)

but seeing how we have so many good CMs I think it could work.

Marchisio--sissoko--Camo for example

or

Marchisio--Zanetti/Poulsen--Sissoko

...

tiago and Sali can be thrown into either of those as well.
Cassano just needs to be given games and he will prove himself here. I am positive.

Especially since in a 4-3-3 the right and left backs do a lot to support the offense. They need to be able to get up and back, attack and defend. I don't think that's the case at the moment, however much wishful thinking you want to use.

And I think Pouslen and Tiago are kind of a waste of salary. Though both have played well at times. Juve ought to upgrade one of them, purchase a rb or lb(best available), and invest in a CB for when Legro finally runs out of steam. Giovinco is more than capable as an understudy to DP. In a 4-3-3, replacement of Nedved is not an immediate requirement, though it is if Ranieri decides to play a 4-4-2.

I think you're definition of good is a little out of proportion here. Marchisio and Sissoko are good mifielders. Camo is a good winger who can play in the center when it is needed. Tiago , Hank, and Sali are decent players who can play well at times. Those three aren't on the same level as Momo and Marchisio.
