They obviously need to do all those things to extend Brady's career - can't continue to exploit Brady at this age by making him throw 50+ times a game and take hits like a crash-test dummy.
But at the same time, they have won without making those adjustments too. Today's loss just took a lot of things they normally do well, all going to shit, all at the same time. It was an ugly game but they could have won it by making some adjustments on O and by not killing themselves (foregoing FGs on 4th down, twice, missing PAT, etc, etc). Yet they did none of those things and that's what Pats usually excel at - making in-game adjustments. Just not today today, for who knows what reason.
