I've heard good things. I wouldve wanted us to trade down and get Perryman or DGB though. Or Anthony.
AA is amazing when it comes to pure measurements. Consistent effort is a big issue with him, an even bigger one - he lacks the nasty character you want from your lineman in the trenches. Best DL and OL players have that little bit of "evil" in them. Armstead doesn't.

trading down isn't always an option - you need a willing partner for that. This area of the draft, considering the talent left, it's not that easy to find one.

We've been mocked with arik for a while now. No surprise.
true, Armstead was an easy pick to project to the 9ers, maybe even too easy ...

Not sure Perryman and DGB are worth a 1st round pick.
same here. Perryman is a 2nd rounder at best, more like a 3rd imo. DGB has little more than just sheer size and athleticism. Takes more than just that to be a great WR in the NFL.

Plus DGB hasn't played in a year. Can't trust that.

I didn't see him as questionable. I saw him as the best CB in this draft

Interesting
gonna have to disagree there. In the right scheme, he'll look very good ... not scheme versatile enough to make me really really want him, espcially considering he may well be a ticking time-bomb.
Alwysy keep in mind that hard-on you had for Gordon and how that worked out in the end ;)

Which Gordon are you talking about? Josh Gordon? He's still supremely talented despite his problems

he is, but is also useless, if not detrimental, to his team.
Character and locker room fit are very, very important sides to a prospect when you are building a team. Need talented but also reliable players, leaders to win. In that respect, Peters was always going to be a questionable pick.

don't laugh - he is magician and a genius :D @ALC

not a bad pick by the Eagles, imo. Agholor is a good player. Top 20? Don't think so but time will tell who had it right.
