There goes LB Anthony - wasn't too high on him for the Pats. 2nd round talent imo - physical player with great athleticism for his size but questionable instincts and football IQ.

Ah, well. That shit should be against the rules.
I blame it on the parents :p

So we can expect a murder trial?
supposedly not a suspect at this point but these things change quickly. just ask Hernandez.

DT Brown falling to 32 reminds me of how Wilfork slipped to the Pats in 2004, for seemingly no particular reason at all. Hope for similar results over the next 10-12 years :p

Brown is also only 20 yo, one of the youngest players in the draft.

Patriots were reportedly discussing a trade down from 32 but decided to stay, when Brown fell to them.

thought you were referring to the La'el Collins situation. Now I see you were hinting at Ray Lewis' nightly escapades.

So, I've had time to think about this pick, and I'm still not crazy about it. I get all the buzzwords about him being raw, a freakish athlete with his size and skill, and a high ceiling.

I'm worried about that ticker of his though.

And speaking of ticker, I knew I heard his name 4 years ago, but couldn't put it together, until I realized that he was the kid who de-committed from USC because he was upset about how they were handling his brother's health situation @acmilan (Armond Armstead) ring a bell?

He was mad because USC wouldn't medically clear his brother to play even though he had suffered a heart attack.

Makes me dislike this pick even more

I want a corner in round 2 if Perryman or the LB from UCLA isn't there, and then just try and grab the ILB from TCU if he is there in the 3rd.

The corners I am thinking of are Rowe from Utah, and Collins from LSU, although the latter is more of a project.

We shall see I guess.
Listen to your elders, and dislike this pick with me.

I'm not fighting this battle alone.

3 out of the lat 4 first round picks for the 49ers, I have disliked (Jenkins, Ward, and now this one)

The only one I really liked was Eric Reid, and we have seen how that has turned out.

But then again though, I have been far more of a fan of their 2nd , 3rd, and 4th round picks the last few years, so hopefully they will make me happy again
