he is, but is also useless, if not detrimental, to his team.
Character and locker room fit are very, very important sides to a prospect when you are building a team. Need talented but also reliable players, leaders to win. In that respect, Peters was always going to be a questionable pick.
put him on the Patriots, let BB and Brady straighten him out, and watch him be the best wide out the Patriots ever had

Assuming he can be straightened out, yes ... but Patriots system works also because they value character, leadership of their players A LOT, often at the expense of pure talent.

Not every player can be a leader. Some need to be lead.

and I mean, he plays for Cleveland. You'd be high all the time just to cope too.

meh, just not a fan of Dupree as a football player. Fools gold imo. Have to say I was actually surprised NFL teams didn't fall for that with one of the top 10 picks. Gotta give credit where it's due.

there are exceptions to every rule. for what it's worth, I never saw Gordon as a fit for the Patriots, despite his amazing talent.

Well, 2 out of the 3 players are now off of my Patriots suicide draft board. I might live to see another day

Pats were never going for Ray, imo. Character concerns aside, he doesn't fit the mold for a Patriot pass-rusher(too small) or LB (lacks instincts for off-line play). A tweener like Shane Ray was always gonna be a situational pass-rusher for the Pats, which they'd never take at the expense of a 1st round pick.

Peters is a bit too slow and lacks short area quickness for what the Pats tend to look for 1st round CBs. Add to that the character concerns and I don't think he was ever a serious consideration either.

Patriots can forgive a little Marijuana, they will never take however a player who quits on his team or attacks his coach. NEVER.

Shaq T going a bit earlier than I thought he would. Very interesting, wild-card type of a prospect. A pure football player with questions regarding his ideal role at the NFL level - a nickle LB or a big SS?

Ravens just got Flacco another downfield WR to help him move the chains thru pass-interference calls

Crap, Tomlinson gone too :(

Liked him for the Pats.

Green bay may go ILB in the 1st. Anthony?

Gregory also an option for the Pack, imo.

Clinton - Dix and Randall in the same backfield

Devin Funches? If they do, lend me whatever you were planning to kill yourself with ...
Well I'm diabetic so it would be Cadbury mini eggs

I still find it odd that Malcom Brown hasn't been drafted. Or that DT from Florida State, for that matter

Right now I am thinking one of OL Fisher, DE Odighizuwa, DT Goldman, DT Brown, CB Collins or CB Rowe to the Pats.
Gregory could be an option too. dark-horse, BB-type of pick - OL Ali Marpet?

Trading down will be first choice though, if they can find a trade partner (someone may well trade up to 32 for a QB, looking for that 5th year option)

Well, Randall was a player I could see the Pats take too. Good pick by the Pack.

Surprised too that Brown is still on board. Maybe some off-field or injury concerns that didn't get out in the news?
