A lot of cash. Don't know how effective he will be with kap as opposed to flacco but we needed him. Still we need to draft a receiver.
@King of Kings

What are your thoughts on how things are shaping up and our chances next season. The rams will improve with foles, cardinals get iupati and the seahawks seem to have all the money in the world.. Graham will help them.
Only like 22 is guaranteed, so it's not a lot. But it is a bit for a guys that's not number 1 caliber.

So with the latest set of baffling moves by Kelly it looks like Mariotta is not the target. I still have no idea why anyone would trade a future 2nd round pick for Sam "Glass Knees" Bradford (that's his indian name since he's Iroquios or Cherokee or something). Now that means the Eagles have Bradford, Sanchez going into camp for the job.

Still on deck to sign for RB are Matthews (SD), Murray (DAL) and god knows who else.

Right now everyone is bordering on whether Kelly is a genius and knows something we don't for using FA cash on players that are allowed to walk or in the next few years I think we are all going to agree that Kelly had no idea how to build an NFL team.

In other news, the Giants signing Vereen and Casillas. I've always rated Vereen fairly valuable when he wasn't injured for the Pats.

If Murray stays in Dallas he will do so for less money than what the Jags are willing to pay him, if some twitter rumors are to be believed.

Considering the short shelf life of RB's in the league, he would be smart to go to the highest bidder and maximize his return for the beating his body is going to take by the time his career is over.

Murray would be crazy to go anywhere else.

They have arguably the top offensive line in the league. It is amazing how they have rebuilt that line through the draft so quickly.

The money would have to be way above the norm for Murray to want to leave. However, that great offensive line that Dallas does have also plays into their favor when negotiating with him.

It is still very very early.

The biggest positional downgrade from those players who left or retired is Willis to Borland, despite the latter having a terrific rookie season. Iupati will be replaced by Brandon Thomas, who had a 1st round grade last year until he injured his knee just before the draft. Crabtree is replaced by Smith, who doesn't have the hands that Crabtree does, but is far more dangerous with the ball in his hands. Frank Gore's replacement is already in house with Carlos Hyde, and there are talks that they may bring in Reggie Bush to be a change of pace back. Justin Smith is replaced by Darnell Dockett, and if the guy is healthy, he is at worst, on the same level as justin Smith

The biggest drawback are the intangibles that Willis, Gore, and Smith brought to the locker room.

The Niners have a lot of young talent due to the stockpiling of picks for the last 2 years, and now it is time for them to put it together. If I had to put a team together right now, here is what it would be.

Defense (3-4)

Carradine- Dorsey/Williams- Dockett

A.Smith-Bowman-Borland-Lynch

Brock- Bethea-Reid- Who the fuck knows at this point

Offense

Boldin Staley-Thomas-Martin-Boone-Davis V. Davis Ellington Smith
Kaepernick

Hyde

Yes, a 3WR spread offense.

I'm happy about Mathews and he can stay healthy with us.

No idea what the Bradford thing is about. He may try to trade him to another team but I'm not sure who would want him. This is definitely the most mind baffling trade so far and I'm hoping Kelly knows something we don't. I mean, Bradford did win a Heisman trophy so maybe Kelly wants to try him out but damn, that is a risky move.

Chip Kelly is turning into Charlie Kelly.

Dallas has an interesting situation when it comes to RB. Yes, they have the best O-line in the league IMO so you would think that they could plug in nearly any RB with 2 legs to run behind it. But if they don't want to pay top money to Murray then Peterson is the next option from what trade rumors state. To break that down further, Murray (age 27) has been banged up and missed seasons at OU but never full seasons at Dallas while Peterson (age 30) has missed seasons at OU and Vikings and would come with a $12m salary which I doubt will get reworked prior to Minnesota works out a trade. But then again Dallas isn't known to make smart moves in the offseason.

Chip Kelly is turning into Charlie Kelly.

 I am really looking forward to seeing Hyde this year. One of my favourite players already.

On another note i'd love us to draft denzel perryman

DeMarco Murray would consider a final offer from Cowboys, per source, but he's going to Philadelphia with intention of signing with Eagles.

So apparently the language with Ryan Matthews was that both sides agreed on contract terms but nothing has been has actually been signed yet, hence the window for the Murray visit. Apparently it's because of Bradford that Murray is in Philly right now.

I heard that. We might end up with only one of Murray/Matthews. And Bradford is already turning out to be a good trade :D
