He's had a couple pretty darn good years recently (cumulative numbers are quite good, Orton/Denver weren't great, and the transition to the Rams, who were fucked, was obviously a bit rough).

The man has amazing hands. AMAZING. He had some concentration issues when he was younger, some maturity issues, but you can't blame him for all of those down years. Washington was shit, and he missed significant time with injuries 3 years in a row.

He's proven that he's a quality player, and he's been healthy the past two seasons. Probably figured out how to really take care of his body. Not a very long contract, easy to terminate, so he's going to stay motivated. Plus he'll have a shot at the Super Bowl every year.

He may just kill it with Tom Brady, in a Josh McDaniel's offense. Pats pass attack is going to be ridiculous, his numbers largely depend on distribution (lots of options), but to me this looks like a huge move for the Pats.

These are some ridiculous hands. An elite skill-set, really.

I would rather have Manningham than Lloyd.

And guess what. It happened.

Sergio 1- Brandon Lloyd 0

C'mon Peyton. All the pieces are in place now.

Their passing attack was ridiculous anyway. They need help on the other side of the ball, and they haven't done anything yet to rectify that

It was 1 and 1a for me in terms of what was left on the market, both have the ability to make big plays, Manningham is younger, so that certainly works in his favor. Lloyd has some obscene ability, and he's really never played with a quality QB (Garcia was OK that season they played together, but their careers weren't in sync). Anyone know what he signed for?

It'll be interesting if the Pats sign Landry, or something like that. They do have an outstanding pass attack, but they're letting Branch go, seems like they'll cut Ochocinco at this point, so they needed another receiver. This is a pretty great fit, nice upgrade IMO.

They still need a RB too, I think. Hopefully they do nothing on D. :D

So Alex is in Miami right now. This is certainly getting interesting.

C'mon, Peyton...

oooh boy. Flynn to the Seahawks, 3 years 26M. Things are heating up... musical chairs, for real.

Peyton, I love ya, I really do.

Just do me a favor.

Please don't tell me that you are going to the Broncos because you feel "It gives you the best chance to win a Super Bowl". Just don't lie to everyone, that's all I ask.

Whooooooaaaaaaaaa COLIN KAEPERNICK!

:D

If Alex goes to the Dolphins, I'd be stunned. That situation for a QB is nasty. The 9 will probably up the guaranteed money, see if that helps. He's got a bit of leverage given the limited options, and that Flynn deal.

Disappointing morning, no doubt about that.

It Happens. I just honestly don't believe that Denver is the ideal situation for him to win a Super Bowl.

Neither do I, but I think he really likes that cap space in Denver. He can have a lot of influence on how that remaining 20M+ is spent, and I guess that could be pretty important to him.

Someone needs to tell Alex Smith that he won't be playing with Lebron and DWade

Hell, the Dolphins don't even have a Bosh caliber player on offense :D
