They are about 2 years away before they are even considered subpar.


However, take these items into consideration.

#1) There are only 32 of these jobs in the world.
#2) The 49ers, in spite of themselves, are still one of the marquee franchises in the NFL
#3) He and the new General Manager are being given 6 year contracts, which are unheard of for first time head coaches and GM's, so this is a signal that the 49ers are finally admitting that they need to rebuild
#4) He has roots to this organization. His father was the offensive coordinator for the 49ers in the early 90's, and was the OC for that amazing offense that won Super Bowl 29.
#5) New stadium, new training facilities
#6) Over 80 million dollars in Salary Cap space, and it could be more once Kaepernick opts out of his contract
#7) 10 guaranteed draft picks this year, with a possible 11th due to compensatory calculations.
#8) He gets to build this team his way.

Gronk is out. The key Players for the Pats are Brady, Edelman, Chris Hogan, their entire Defensive Line

Key players for Atalanta are Matt Ryan, the league MVP, Julio Jones, one of the top 2 or 3 WR in the game, a really good offensive line, and Vic Beasley Jr.
