He's gotta be better than the 4 guys we had last year. Plus OB is pretty good with the quaterbacks.

Malik Jackson got JJ money. Is he that good?
Not even close. He benefitted massively from playing alongside Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware, two of the best on the edge in football.

He's good, but not worth anywhere near that kind of money. First year starter in his 4th year in the league last year, and he was very good, but I'm betting on a bit of a one hit wonder. Should have gotten slightly higher numbers than Wolfe resigned for Denver for, 4 years 39 mil. 6 years 90 mil is absurd. Shouldn't have received over 12 mil a year imo.

Jacksonville looks like they may have some decent talent on the line next year but I think we'll see him struggle a bit without Ware and Miller.

FREEEEEEEEEEEE AGENCYYYYYYYY MADNESSSSSSS
aka - how not to win a SB and set your franchise back by 3-4 years.

some crazy amounts being thrown around for good-but-not-great players ... that's the first 1-2 days of FA for ya

Giants are stacking up on defense!!! Jason Pierre-Paul, Damon Harrison, Janoris Jenkins, Olivier Vernon!
Giants brass is desperate to save their jobs now that Caughlin is gone and there is no one left to play the role of the scapegoat.

When the G-Men had good teams in the past, they built thru the draft, not splashy signings in FA ... that is, like any other successful franchise in the FA/salary cap era.

No, but Jags are that stupid ...

basically ... good player but no where near worth a team like the Jags is giving him. Actually, I like Wolfe better than MJ and at less than 10 mil APR, he's a bargain imo, considering the type of money flying around in FA this year with the cap rising another 12 mil iirc and projected to rise again next year by about the same amount.

Vernon getting 17 mil APY

... and Von Miller's demands just went past the 20 mil mark, counting the hometown discount.

In related news, Pats just lost their 2nd round pick for the Chiefs tampering ...

I don't know what to say. Surprised we went out and got Brock. I don't think he's worth it but I hope he proves me wrong. Stoked for the Lamar Miller pick up. I guess we are pretty much the same at the Center and Guard position, but we'll lack the cohesion that keeping a unit together has.

Our draft should be pretty stress free now.
