I haven't noticed. I escaped to Lake Tahoe to get away from the whole scene. Supposedly they did round up some homeless out from under I-80 in SOMA to hide the uglies from corporate sponsors. I witnessed that in Cape Town for the WC years ago too.

But my wife saw a great Facebook post from a friend last night: "With the Super Bowl in town I just met 50 Cent ... at Bevmo".

(For the uninitiated, Bevmo, aka Beverages & More, is a chain of discount warehouse liquor stores.)
