they got tired and that's why the Arisona running game picked up in the 4th. Packers O couldn't mode the ball consistently thruout the game to give them a breather.
You think so? Time of possession going into overtime was 30:14 GB, and 29:46 Arizona.

It really was just a matter of a couple really disastrous letdowns. Allowing Palmer to break contain in OT, and not having a DB on Fitzgerald is just brutal. Fitz should never have been that open.

Regardless. Pack trumped my expectations after the disastrous middle of the season. Hopefully everyone is healthy next year for a serious run at another SB.

I think that was the reason for that scoring drive by the Cards in the 4th - GB needed more effort out of everyone to play to the level they did; Cards front 4-5 were enough to stop run, put pressure on Rodgers. Cards D looked fresher late in the game, imo. TOP numbers can be misleading.

personally, I think Pack lost the game with the coin toss going cards way.

Of course completely losing track of Larry F there didn't help one bit.

The Sam Shields int drop that led to 17-13 for Cards was the big one for me. Would have been a pick 6 for 20-10 with 4 minutes left. Instead 17-13. Oh well. Happy it was a great game.
great game indeed. Pack certainly had their chances to win it. Team left it all on the field, can't blame them for coming up short. Tough luck there for losing Cobb so early in the game - that made a huge difference in the final outcome, imo.

Mike Mularky gets the Titans HC job  - some teams just can't get out of their own way.

What do you think for tomorrow? I think with Antonio Brown and a healthy Ben, Steelers beat Broncos... But without Brown, and Ben not fully healthy, Broncos win a close one.

Seattle-Carolina is the interesting match-up. Seattle was on fire at the end of the season, but played pretty poorly against Minnesota... Carolina played a pretty weak schedule and beat Seattle when Seattle was in terrible form. I might bet on Seattle in this match-up. Hard to say. I think it's decided by which defence limits the opposing QBs ability to make something out of broken plays best.

Steelers will be without Brown and D-Will - two huge options for their short-passing game, which is what an injured Big Ben would need like no one's business tomorrow, if he plays at all.
On paper, Steelrs don't stand a chance, with Big Ben or without ... but considering they are facing the master of the one-and-done play-off experience, now off HGH and with a noodle arm to boot, never say never.

Panthers - 'Hawks game is the definition of pick 'em, imo. Wouldn't put too much stock into the Seahawks performance at Minny - sub-zero temps like that are a great equalizer and make it virtually impossible to draw meaningful conclusions.
If anything, I'd say 'Hawks should be favored tomorrow for having the more experienced team in such games and I am not sold on Cam Newton in the play-offs yet. Plus, Panthers secondary lost 2 starters over the last 2-3 games of the reg season, so might have some issues keeping this pass-happy Seashawks offense at bay.
Bobby Wagner missed the reg season game between these two teams, which game Panthers won at Seattle. He's back for this one and that should make a huge diff for the Seattle D.

Speaking of coin tosses, not sure this qualifies:

I fucking hate Packers. When you don't support them they win all the fucking time, when you put your money on them they fucking lose on purpose! :andy2:
